Sanctuary of Echoes is an encaustic mixed media piece incorporating original photographs of sacred sites in Ireland and Tucson, Arizona. Layered textures, niches, and windows create a dialogue between two landscapes, uniting Celtic and Indigenous echoes of worship, ceremony and reverence. By embedding photography within wax — a medium of both obscuring and revealing — the work reflects how histories and beliefs interweave across cultures. It invites viewers to pause in the liminal space where memory, spirit and place converge.
