Stone Remembers

Synthograph, ink, encaustic on Encausticbord
In Stone Remembers, a fractured landscape stretches toward a dissolving horizon, echoing the limestone fields of the Burren — worn, scarred, and silent. Synthographic textures, hand-altered with ink and sealed in translucent encaustic, evoke the memory of absence: the imprint of footsteps long vanished, the ache of land that holds the silence of those who once belonged. The rectilinear forms hanging in the sky suggest both memory grids and ancestral traces — as if the landscape itself is remembering. Framed.
