Bastet’s Watch

Bastet’s Watch draws on the ancient Egyptian goddess revered as both guardian and nurturer. The cat’s watchful face presides over a body of layered symbols—bones, feathers, textiles, and script—each chosen to signify protection, memory, and life’s continuity. Braided fabrics echo the ties of kinship, while the central feline presence radiates both ferocity and tenderness. Rooted in collage and assemblage traditions, the totem functions as a spiritual protector of hearth and lineage.
